Schedule moving day to allow time for closing, cleaning, and necessary repairs.
Complete change of address with USPS.
Change your address with your bank/financial institution, the DMV, insurance, medical providers, employer, schools, and subscriptions.
Deep clean, including carpets.
Complete repairs and renovations.
Change locks, reset garage code, and set up an alarm system.
Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, replace as needed.
Prepare for closing:
Bring a valid photo identification such as a driver's license, state issued ID card, or passport with you to closing.
Bring a cashier's check for any funds to close. If you prefer to send funds via wire transfer, please contact our office for instructions.
Coordinate with your real estate agent on the transfer of keys for the property.
Make sure all signers attend closing.
